Creator posted about us without being paid — how should we handle this?
A creator with 150k followers posted about our protein powder without any deal with us. The content is great. How do we engage without it being awkward?

Organic creator love is the best possible signal. Here's the playbook: (1) Comment genuinely on the post — don't just drop a discount code, that looks transactional. (2) Share their content on your brand Stories/feed (with credit). (3) DM them personally — not your marketing team — something warm and specific about what they said. Then offer to send more product and discuss a paid partnership. Creators who post organically first become the best long-term partners because their audience trusts the recommendation is real.
Build partnerships with organic advocates →Speaking as a creator — when brands reach out after I post organically and they're genuinely warm and appreciative (not transactional), I almost always say yes to a paid partnership at a friendly rate. The worst thing you can do is immediately offer a discount code in the comments. We notice.
