Should I approve every creator who applies to my PPV campaign or be selective?

28 creators have applied to our creatine campaign in 5 days. Match scores range from 45 to 88. I only have ₹40k budget. Do I approve all of them and see who performs, or be selective upfront?

Be selective — especially with a ₹40k cap. Approving 28 creators means your budget spreads thin and you lose the ability to manage quality. Practical approach: approve 8–10 creators above a 65 match score and with verified status. Review their last 6 posts. If 5 of those 10 perform well, you will use your budget efficiently. The rest you can invite in round 2 once you have data.

From creator side: being one of 28 approved for a limited budget campaign is demotivating. We know the brand cannot pay everyone well. When brands approve 6–8 creators we feel like a real partner, not a number. Better content comes from that feeling. Small cohort, strong relationships.

We approve in batches. First batch of 5, see who posts and performs in the first 10 days, then approve 5 more. This gives us learning loops and better budget control. The creators who have been waiting also tend to post quickly once approved because they know slots are limited.
