How to brief a creator for a product tutorial vs a lifestyle post — what changes?
We're planning two types of content for our serum — a how-to tutorial and a lifestyle integration. Do these need different briefs? What changes between them?

Tutorial brief vs lifestyle brief — what actually changes: Tutorial brief must include: exact application steps in correct order, which skin types to mention, what results to reference (hydration, not "acne cure"), timing (morning vs night routine). Lifestyle brief must include: the mood and aesthetic you want (minimal, warm, aspirational), where the product fits naturally (bathroom shelf, morning table, travel bag), what NOT to make it feel like (don't make it look like an ad). What stays the same in both: key message (one thing to remember), mandatory disclosures, CTA and link, approval timeline. Common mistake: sending the same brief for both content types. Tutorial audiences want to learn; lifestyle audiences want to feel. The content strategy — and therefore the brief — is fundamentally different.
